Our Customer Service Department is happy to help you whether you want to
start a new account or whether you have a question about your existing account.

Applying For Service
Information you may need at the time of application includes:
- Location Address
- Mailing Address (if different from Location Address)
- Type Of Service (residential, commercial, irrigation, etc.)
- Service Preference, if available (overhead or underground)
- Rental Light Request (install new light, turn on/off existing light)
- Contact Telephone Numbers (home number, work number, mobile number,
beeper number, etc.)
- Social Security Number
- Employer
- Spouse's Name
- Contact Person
- Deposit ($75.00 for residential customers; Commercial customers - please
call)

from the appropriate government agency:

Utility Protection Center - Georgia has
established a central statewide facility to improve safety and coordinate work
in the vicinity of either overhead or underground power lines. At any
time that excavation is to be done please contact the UPC at 1-800-282-7411 so
that the Power Commission and other utilities can locate any buried
facilities. Also, whenever any work is to be done within 10 feet of any
overhead power line contact the UPC to coordinate work and ensure a safe work
environment.
Deposit Policy
Deposits are required of all new
customers and existing customers that are disconnected for non-payment.
Residential deposits are $75.
Commercial deposits are generally an average of two months' bills - call our
office for more information.
We will hold your deposit on your account
until at which time you leave our service area. At that time, we will
apply your deposit to your final balance and refund the difference, if any.
Available Programs
Currently, we offer the following
programs to our customers at no cost:
Pre-Authorized Payment: We
can automatically draft your electric bill from your bank account each month.
Drafts will be drawn on the due date indicated on your bill which is
approximately the same day each month.
Senior Citizen Discount:
Available to residential customers 65 years of age or older with household
income of $14,355 per year or less, this discount helps customers save on their
monthly electric bill.
Levelized Billing: Pay
levelized monthly average amount so the bill is close to the same amount each
month.
Energy Audit: We can come to
your home and help you determine where your energy dollar is being spent as well
as provide energy-saving tips.
